Bude Tandoori is the latest local business to pledge its support to the town's Sea Pool. In the New Year they will be holding a fundraising evening to help contribute towards the pool's running costs. The event, on Monday 7th January, is offering people the chance to sample four courses of Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine with 60% of the proceeds going to the Friends of Bude Sea Pool (FoBSP).
FoBSP vice-chairman Martyn Holehouse and treasurer Stephen Rosser discuss the menu for the charity fund-raising evening with the staff at the Bude Tandoori.

The staff at the Bude Tandoori have also organised a bumper raffle with a number of prizes donated by shops and businesses in Bude.
Over 30,000 people visited the 80 year old Sea Pool this summer and on its busiest single day in 2012 the Pool hosted over 500 visitors.
Now run by the FoBSP charity, a major restoration project is being undertaken in early 2013 to replace the Pool's aging sluice gate. The new water management system will enable FoBSP to inspect and clean the interior of the Pool more frequently, and dredge it to standardise the depth and improve water quality. This is a significant project with of budget in the region of £30,000.
Bude Sea Pool is funded entirely by donations, sponsorship and membership, so events of this type are crucial to the Pool's future.
Bude Tandoori is offering the meal at a special price of £19.95 per person. The restaurant will be open on January 7th from 5pm through to 11.30pm and bookings for the Charity Night are being taken now on 01288 359994 / 352504. Raffle tickets will be on sale in the run up to the event.
