Bude Woman's Helicopter Lift

A search and Rescue helicopter from Chivenor transferred a 23-year-old Bude medical patient suffering from a rare hormone disorder, according to the This Is North Devon site.

The woman, who has Addison's disease, was collected from Bude Hospital by the A Flight 22 Squadron team in a Sea King helicopter.

She was taken to North Devon District Hospital in Barnstaple on Tuesday at 5.15pm for further treatment.
