A group of Year 13 BTEC Outdoor Pursuits students from Budehaven have completed The Devon Coast to Coast Challenge, a two day cycle from Saunton Sands in North Devon to Plymouth Hoe. The group, led by teachers Mr Dyer and Mr Drew, were raising money and awareness of the Coppafeel Breast Cancer in Young People Charity.

The trip was described by those that took part as 'quite tough', with the cyclists completing nearly 100 miles in total.
The school has extended special thanks to Congdons Furniture Store in Bude, who donated the use of their removal van to transport the bikes.
They've also thanked Mrs Lesley Blake-Bertram, from Sainsburys in Bude, who managed to fit the group in at short notice to collect nearly £600 for the charity.
It's now hoped this could become an annual event.
