Police from the Devon & Cornwall Police's Serious & Organised Crime Team in conjunction with Merseyside Police have this morning carried out search warrants both in Plymouth and Merseyside in relation to an on-going investigation into the unlawful supply and distribution of heroin into Plymouth from Merseyside. Four persons, three men, one aged 55 years and two 18 yrs and a woman aged 44 years were arrested at separate addresses in Plymouth on suspicion of conspiracy to supply controlled drugs and are being detained at Charles Cross Police Station awaiting interview. Five other persons have been arrested in Merseyside by Devon & Cornwall Officers supported by Merseyside Police. These include four men aged, 48, 31, 27 and 23 and a woman aged 42 years. They remain custody in Merseyside awaiting interview.
