Drugs Seizure and Arrests Near Dartmoor

Just after 11pm on Saturday 14th January 2012 a Ford Focus car from the Bristol area was stopped near to Dartmoor prison.  A man aged 28 and a woman aged 25 both from the Bristol area were searched and found to be in possession of a substantial amount of controlled drugs, telephones and ancillary equipment. The items were packaged together in the boot of the car.  The man and woman were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of controlled drugs and taken to Launceston custody and were later bailed until 2 May 2012 while police carry out further enquiries.
