Flood Alerts for North Cornwall Coast and Upper Tamar

Flood alerts are in place for the North Cornwall Coast and Upper River Tamar according to the Environment Agency. Heavy rainfall is expected overnight followed by a band of heavy showers. 20mm will be widespread with the possibility of more in the Upper River Tamar area, including Bude, Helebridge, Bridgerule, Canworthy Water & Yeolmbridge.

Waves are likely to be much more dramatic than this.......flood warnings alert.
There may be localised coastal flooding due to the combination of tidal surges, high winds and waves from Hartland Point down to Lands End. However, there is as yet no specific warning for the North Cornwall coast at Bude including The Strand and the Crescent.

There is still a flood alert in force for the Upper River Tamar areas, with further heavy rain expected on Thursday. All other flood alerts in the area have been removed.

ReportNo warnings in force for River Neet from Woolstone Bridge to Rodds Mill, River Strat from Bush to Helebridge, and River Neet at Bude. Warnings still in place for possible flooding along North Cornwall Coast and Upper River Tamar, though nothing forecast - yet - for Bude itself.
