A FLORIST in North Cornwall is hoping to go one better and take a gold medal at the Chelsea Flower Show in May.

Florist Erica Tippett is going for gold at Chelsea.
Erica Tippett, 25, who owns Bleujen Florist in Bude, has had to design and construct a table display for the Olympics to qualify for this year's Chelsea.
"I was really chuffed with the outcome receiving 91 out of a 100, a clear 25 marks ahead of everyone else in my category. This design was created from a cylinder of perspex and test tubes with a fine and delicate design on top.
"I am really happy to announce that I won. I am heading up to Chelsea in May to compete in the RHS Young Chelsea Florist of the Year for ages between 16 to 25 years."
Erica won silver last year and silver gilt the year before, so now, at 25, this is her final opportunity in the young florist classes so she is hoping to bring back a gold to Cornwall.
