By BudePeeps | Friday, January 13, 2012, 06:13
Shortly after 8pm yesterday, the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service was called to an address at Underlane, Marhamchurch, that had faint traces of smoke apparent in the rooms. One appliance with six crew responded from Bude Community Fire Station. Following investigation, it was found to be smoke from a defective chimney flue in a neighbour's property. The crews extinguished the open fire and used ventilation equipment to clear the smoke.
