If anyone was out and about walking in the Bude area on Saturday they may have come across 80 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Leaders taking part in walks around Bude.
The Beavers did a 4 mile route, the Cubs walked 7 miles and the Scouts walked 10 miles.

What a lovely sight that would have been. Well done to the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts for joining in the Hut2Hut walk. It sounds great fun. Also note from the website http://tinyurl.com/cztsmq9 that the Scouts favourite recipe book is here, containing recipes from scouts and celebrity chefs, which will be on sale at the Triangle on Bude's late night Christmas shopping night on 9th December, and available also from Metherell Gard in Bude. At only £3 a copy, it's a great little Christmas gift, or stocking filler, and will help raise money for the new hut. There is also a Cubs panto at Stratton Community Hall on 17th December, with tickets available at half price from the Archangel Bookshop.
