Two wonderfully different exhibitions are now on at The Castle in Bude. The first is Budehaven School's mixed media exhibition, which covers everything from photography to sculpture. Running alongside this is the annual archive exhibition covering part of the history of Bude.

The Budehaven exhibition, which is already underway, runs until 1 March and is based around the theme "Layers".
The second exhibition is "Work and Play, 1850 to 1950" which covers a vast range of topics including information on the changes to transport in Bude and Stratton as well as to retail and leisure activities such as the cinema, beach and children's games over the past century.
The archive opened this week and will also run until 1 March.
Entry to the exhibitions is free.
