Water for Elephants - in Bude

Bude Community Cinema Film night – WATER for ELEPHANTS

The film is based on the best-selling novel by Sara Gruen, where student vet Jacob, after the sudden death of both parents, abandons his studies and joins a circus. There he meets, and falls for, horse-trainer and star performer Marlena, and gets caught up in the complexities of circus life and the people involved in tough, post-depression USA.  

Starring Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson (of Twilight fame) – but some say that the real star is Tai – aka Rosie the elephant.

 

Admission: Usual prices of £4 for Adults and £2 for Students.  As it's the AGM, no charge for members.
