\Weather Report - No Snow for Bude

Well, there are alerts out for the other parts of the country for snow but I'm not finding any for Bude. Husband swears by the Magic Seaweed surf reports for his weather forecasts, which seems to be predicting highrer temperatures for the weekend, dropping again in the middle of next week before rising again. No severe weather warnings from the Met Office either. The BBC suggests rain on Saturday.........all in all, we're probably talking rain rather than snow!!

Last night was the coldest night of the year so far. Reports from Okehampton got to -9.7 degs. Anyone check temperatures in Bude? All I know is that my animals' drinking water froze and some of the windows had a layer of ice outside............

Changes in the weather alerts. SW England is now on a yellow alert for snow but it looks unlikely to reach Bude from the weather map given by the Met Office. However, for people travelling north towards Somerset, the weather could be a tad exciting on Saturday though it sweeps east by Sunday.......just take care out there. Even without snow we have freezing conditions and slippery roads to contend with.
