most helpful shop around, great display of lighting

I visited Holdcroft Lighting in Bude, cornwall today and was really impressed with their selection of lighting, I met to lovely ladies who went out of their way to help with my lighting design for my new build. I was spoilt with choice but took away catalogues to view at home and will defiantly be returning as their prices were very competitive. Brillant shop if your looking for lighting this is a place you must visit.

Fantastic fast customer service

I visited Holdcroft Lighting last week and was taken back by the beautifull display of lights/lamps, the staff were so helpfull and kind and l felt so at ease , I have just finished decorating my living room and the lights and shades l brought from Holdcroft Lighting have made my room look amazing, Such great quality and price. Fantastic selection at competitive prices

Having recently moved into a new house I was on the search of some contemporary lighting fixtures to feature in our newly decorated rooms. I was keen to find a local company, partly due to Barnstaple and Exeter being such a trek, and was delighted to have come across Holdcroft Lighting on Kings Hill industrial estate just up the road from my house! The website has an array of styles of lighting which was impressive and when I popped in on my lunch break I was further impressed to see the vast range of options and styles they offer to include other furniture items also!
It is very reasonably priced and competitive with the larger stores you find which was refreshing! There really was everything I was looking for available in all sorts of sizes and fixtures! Hayley was very helpful and gave me lots of advice and ideas to go away with and it was great to have someone else’s option!
I would thoroughly recommend Holdcroft Lighting and now thanks to Hayley I have a beautifully accessorized new home!

Choice and Style in this modern lighting store

I was looking for a really modern and functional light fitting for my home and after searching the high street in Barnstaple and not finding anything that I liked, I tried Holdcroft Lighting on the Kings Hill Industrial Estate. I was really surprised at seeing so much choice so close to home. Both modern and traditional lighting was available and I was spoiled for choice. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for lighting as they cater for both basic and the more discerning needs.

Great Shop, great staff.

Holdcroft lighting is a great shop with a lovely selection, The lady I spoke to, Vicky was really helpfull and friendly and knew what she was talking about. While I was there browsing 2 people came in and bought that were obviously regular customers and vicky knew them by name and helped them get what they wanted quickly and they left happy. If people in the local trade are using them then that tells me that they are good to do business with!

Great Service - With a Smile

Having seen Holdcroft Lighting on Bude People, I drove in yesterday. Situated on the Kings Hill Industrial Estate, the first point is that parking is easy. The second point is that the shop is light and airy with a lovely display of items. I actually went for fairly functional stuff but there were some excellent lamps and light fittings and prices surprised me! Having tended to buy stuff like this via the internet for ease, I now realised there is a place I could come and see things first. I wasn't sure if my light shades would fit - they didn't - but was assured I could return/exchange them. I was also even given the chance of taking them home without paying first.......
The owner is Hayley Holdcroft whose husband is an electrician so is out doing electrical jobs. She said she looked at having a shop in Bude but that the rents were too high, and, if you have a car, a shop on an industrial estate makes a certain sense. You may not get passing trade but once people know you and word gets around, then people return - especially with good service and easy parking. As I'd just pranged my car, Hayley also offered me a coffee! I didn't take her up on it, but her kindness resonated with me.......
I shall need to take my shades back but will swap them for some rather nice lamps I saw which will do very nicely......worth a visit, and the company is happy to order something specific for you if they don't already have it in stock!
