Absence of wildlife
Is it my imagination but has anyone else noticed the total absence of wildlife on the canal upper and lower wharfs?

Whilst it is the nesting season you might expect the ducks and swans to be absent on their nest, but usually their mates will be seen around.

I see an otter atleast four times each week between the Lower Wharf, Rodds Bridge and Nanny Moores Bridge area and have seen the Geese and their Goslins pretty much every day...not to mention the ducks and other birds!

My home office overlooks the lower wharf and dont remember the last time I didnt see somesort of healtny looking wildlife!
