Thanks JayCee47 for the posting about the better seating and the bar. I can add a couple more bits of good news. Firstly, the new screen, acquired by the Town Council last year wasn't used by BCC because of limitations of the lens on our projector. But the screen has now been moved - so the picture won't be so far away, and it will be on a better relective surface than the back wall of the hall.

With the remaining money from the Lottery Grant, BCC has a new high definition DVD player, a new amplifier and some additional speakers to augment those already in place in the Parkhouse Centre. All this should produce better sound and vision.
