Hi to all parents in Bude, just to let you know that we have a new notice board outside the childrens centre, and we will soon be posting a revised version of our minutes up there for you all to see.  We also hope to get the "swop shop" up and running and if you have any ad's you would like to go in the notice board just let us know.

    All the best

Thats a great idea, I will in time be posting more info to this group, (it's just a matter of finding the time!).

We are always looking for new members, and anybody who is interested is welcome along to our next meeting  on Thursday November 12th @ 7.30pm @ the childrens centre.

Hi we are a small group of parents who (like to think) we have a little bit of an input into the services offered at Bude Childrens Centre.  We hold regular meetings, usualy in the evening to discuss the upcoming timetable at the childrens centre and also any events that may be happening (we have just started talking about the christmas party  !! oh exciting!!).  It means that if we have any concerns or praise or any comments in general about the services that are offered to our children, we can present them  to the centre manager.

We are as I said a small group at the minute and we haven't really been around for long but we are getting some things done.

Anybody with an interest in what we do is welcome to come along and if your children or grand children attend the centre what have you got to lose?

Just to say (or request), I would like to see you use the internet (and this site!) more and keep us all better informed on what's going on, planned events, etc. My daughter and I have heard about so many fun activities after they have happened, especially now she has just turned three and we don't use the Children's Cente as often as we used to. The upcoming theatre trip is a good example; it was just lucky we were told about it in time to book up - a little poster behind the reception desk is easily missed when you're shepparding kids through! An email newsletter would be fantastic....

    Best wishes, Karen
