Sorry that this "news" is a bit negative but a member of Farmwatch has recently had "*****s" on his land. The MO is a white Transit van with two men dressed in high visibility road-worker type clothing. They go about "casing" the joint but when challenged they ask whether the land owner would like to buy some road scalpings for his driveways. The vans registration number has already been reported to the police. Pretty cute operators but compared to what is going on up-country we're pretty lucky down here.

By the way if your car or van is badged "Catalyst" it is a good idea to REMOVE the badge. (and to think that my first car had no filler cap lock, no steering lock and no alarm or immobiliser!) Of course in the good old days there were drastic punishments and people didn't mess with other peoples property.
