With the exception of a couple of entries, this site has descended into advertising and self back-patting. Sad really. I know....i'll start a rumour. I heard that the tree in the triangle is going to be cut down and a forty foot wind turbine is to be erected to power the Christmas lights! Any comments?

God idea! And also on top of The Castle or Bude Light. Another idea would be a treadmill where tourists could pay a pound to test how fast they could go - but have it secretly connected to a generator!

Here's another totally outrageous far-fetched false rumour: they're going to dig up up all those lovely green fields and hedges on the way into Bude and (and this is the really credulity-stretching hilarious part) put 400 houses, some factories and a Lidl's on it! LOL!
Ah no, sorry. That one is actually going to happen.
