CAB - PERHAPS YOU THOUGHT THEY WERE CLOSED DOWN?!
As a response to the number of people that I am getting coming through the doors of the NEETSIDE COMMUNITY CENTRE who are asking me if the
BUDE & HOLSWORTHY CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU has closed down and where can they now go for advice, I am delighted to be able to assure the Community of Bude and Stratton that the CAB is alive and well and open in Bude at the 'Neetside' every Monday from 10am to 2pm and in Holsworthy every Wednesday 10am to 4pm for appointments and telephone advice.
Yes, as a result of significant funding cuts their opening hours have been reduced but the excellent service to the community that they provide is still available and of course is FREE! I am sure that many people reading this will, at some stage, have been to the BUDE CAB here at 'Neetside' and can vouch for the excellent quality of service and advice that they have received. It is a vital service to the community and they tell me that by continuing to use their service, you are supporting their charity, in other words you are keeping it alive!
So, should you need their services, please either phone them or pop into 'Neetside on Monday's to make an appointment'.

Just to re-iterate that the CAB at Bude and Holsworthy has definitely NOT closed! The Neetside Bureau at Bude is still meeting local needs.
Fully trained advisers are still very much on hand to provide the advice people need for the problems they have which is free, independent, confidential and impartial. The service is a charity and relies on public donations to maintain this service. In 2001, nationally the CAB helped 2.1 million people to solve 7.1 million problems..........
