Whats with the face?

This is on a cliff at Summerleze, does anyone know the story behind it?

I cant find any photos of the cliff. Go to the breakwater, walk on the beach/rocks going left. When you get to the next opening (has to be at low tide) you will see a cave at the bottom of the cliff. Go in, climb up. When you get to the top you can either go foward and down through a tall but narrow cave or up and going back on your self, so go up (a little dodgy) and then walk along the cilff back towards Bude way. You'll see it on the cliff. Let me know if anyone else spots it.

Thanks for the reply i think i know the general area your talking about, I'll have to go on a hunt for it next time im in the area

Not a hoax. Found it when I was a kid. It's hard to explain where it is. Start at the breakwater and go left, there is a little cave with a climb in. It's on that cliff, on the outside. Let me see if I can find a picture of the cliff on Goggle....
