My partner and I had a takeaway last night. Been living in bude a year and not had an indian. Used budepeople to see reviews and went for bude tandoori. Got to say exceeded even my expectations.staff very polite. Waited 25mins as ordered while I waited and ready on time.,the food was great. Afraid to say that so happy not bother trying others. Well done

I visit Bude as often as possible can't wait to live there ! I always have a meal at the Bude Tandori excellent food and very friendly and polite staff.....see you again soon

The best in Bude

If you want a great Indian-themed meal with great service and really lovely food then this is the best place in Bude. Only opened in 2010 but has really made its mark. Booking essential!

Our Indian restaurant of choice. Top notch

We eat regularly at the BT, normally one or two eat-in meals each week. It has become our favourite local restaurant with an interesting menu which is far more varied than the usual curry house fare. The service is quick and friendly; the restaurant is itself is kept spotlessly clean. We can definitely recommend some of their specials and unusual dishes; chaft kuftis masala (with potato) is delicious; rezala is strips of chicken is a spicy tomato-based sauce, and molee is an interesting lemon and coconut dish. All a little bit different to the usual fare, although the BT will definitely serve an above-average chicken tikka masala or a vindaloo if you prefer! We have also found that the chef will cook a dish especially for you if there's something you'd like which isn't on their menu.
Our only complaint is that the nature of the room means that loud groups tend to affect the ambience. So a yelling family with kids screaming can spoil an otherwise wonderful evening -- and unfortunately there do seem to be quite a few people who like to hold their conversations at full volume, and don't care much about the effect they have on other diners...
But overall, this is our favourite Indian restaurant; easy to recommend.

Amazing Indian

The Blue Tandoori serves some of the best Indian food in the county - really delicious with a lot of care and attention taken to the delicate mix of spices and the consistency of the final product. The staff couldnt be more friendly and helpful, and the takeaway service is just as good. The atmosphere inside is lovely, with a nice bar to just sit at and enjoy some evening drinks if you fancy it. They even give out plates and cutlery with the takeout! Absolutely first-class.

Have had the pleasure of dining out on several occasions now and have nothing but praise for the food and service!
Only (personal) criticism - No soup as a starter on the menu 8-(

Really good

We had a takeaway with some friends so had quite a good selection from the menu. The food was ready when they said, it was piping hot and the quality was of the highest standard. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommended.
