    BOXING CLEVER:  The Western Counties Elite Schools amateur boxing squad held a training session at Bodmin ABC. Of the 13 boxers from across the region selected by county coach Ian Tennant   for elite training, seven were from Cornish clubs, Lewis Penfold, Kane Wildman, Ryan Hoar, Dean Thomas, Mark Meaden, Fran Masters and Danny Thomas. Ian said: "This was a great showpiece for Cornish schools boxers keen to progress  to a higher level and is testament to the hard work and commitment of the club coaches involved in their development." Regional schools coach Craig Turner said: "This was an enjoyable day for everyone, all the boxers worked hard and gained from the spotlight of elite squad coaching."
